Scheduling a Mammogram
All our mammograms are digital 3D mammograms because they offer clearer pictures, making it easier for doctors to catch breast cancer early.
Mammograms do not require a physician's referral, but a primary care provider must be listed to receive results.
Diagnostic imaging, like a breast MRI, requires a physician referral, and appointments can be scheduled with your doctor's office.
Calling to Schedule
If any of the following information applies to you, you can’t schedule a mammogram online and must call for an appointment:
- You have any breast concerns such as a lump, nipple discharge, or other changes since your last mammogram.
- You’re scheduling a six-month follow-up mammogram.
- You have a history of breast cancer.
- You’ve had breast surgery in the last five years.
- You’re under the age of 40, which requires a doctor’s referral.
Call 513-585-2668 from 7 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, so we can ensure you receive the most appropriate test for your needs.
Scheduling Online
Before scheduling an appointment online, please consider the following information:
- Please check with your insurance provider to ensure payment if you’re scheduling a mammogram less than 365 days from your last one.
- Check your insurance coverage for digital 3D mammograms, called tomosynthesis. The coverage is usually the same as for traditional mammograms.
- When scheduling your appointment, please make sure the phone number you enter is accurate. We’ll call you to confirm your appointment. If we're unable to reach you, we’ll cancel your appointment so that we can accommodate other patients.
