Timothy McCarren, MD, completed his undergraduate studies at Xavier University, graduating with a Bachelor in Science. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine before completing his Family Medicine residency program at the University of Cincinnati, where he was chief resident during his final year. From 1983 to 1985, he was the director of residency training. Dr. McCarren then worked as an emergency medicine physician at Deaconess Hospital before moving to private practice in 1986.
