Dr. Peavie earned his Bachelor of Science from Western Kentucky University and his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at The Christ Hospital and his endocrinology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
Dr. Peavie is a member of the Endocrine Society, American College of Physicians, American Thyroid Association and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist. He is a recipient of The Arnold P. Gold Foundation, Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award and the Medical School Clinical Excellence Award.
