Maria Zukowski, PA-C, is a Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Family Medicine with The Christ Hospital Physicians Primary Care. She cares for patients of all ages at the Springfield Township location.
She was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by her mother, who was a nurse, and by spending much of her childhood visiting a close friend receiving care in a hospital for cystic fibrosis. Her care philosophy is centered on collaboration with her patients, and she encourages them to ask questions to ensure they are getting the best care for them. I strive to educate patients about their condition and provide treatment options that they are comfortable with, she says.
Maria earned a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from Miami University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College. She says her greatest medical accomplishment was receiving the Frontier Award for Advanced Practice Providers from The Christ Hospital Health Network.
In her free time, Maria enjoys playing games with friends and family, including her husband and son. She also enjoys reading, drawing, and caring for her cat.
