Overview
When you or a loved one is struggling with an emotional or psychological issue, don’t hesitate to seek help. Many variables can impact your mental health — genetics, trauma, life experiences or drug or alcohol use can all also play a role.
We offer specialized inpatient areas licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (ODMHAS) to provide prompt and effective treatment to adults, seniors, as well as adults in psychiatric crises needing intensive care services.
Notice: This is an inpatient service, only. Outpatient behavioral health consultations are available by referral at our primary care offices for existing primary care patients, only as a collaborative approach to issues that may arise as part of regular care from that provider.
Specialist Inpatient Services
We offer care in units with experienced professionals, including:
- Adult inpatient mental health unit—focuses on crisis stabilization for people age 18 years and older who have a primary psychiatric diagnosis.
- Senior adult mental health unit—geared for people age 60 and older who require short-term inpatient psychiatric care. A gerontology team—a nurse practitioner and physician who specializes in senior health—is also available to manage medical care as needed. Patients are typically seen by a nurse practitioner for ongoing care, but a gerontologist is available for consultation.
- Behavioral intensive care unit—provides a safe environment and therapeutic services for people with high-level mental health needs.
